Our platform was designed and built for security, scale and faster setup time. This means that you don't need to worry or spend time (or money) on authentication, authorization, access control, automation, database setup and maintenance, system upgrades, etc. apps@cloud is also very cost-effective compared to other options and even more so if starting from scratch. Your solution would run on the Google Cloud™ and could be low-code or even no-code, increasing its reliability. apps@cloud is flexible enough to hold almost all business apps and most data types so you could host all information in one location. We're working with an approved reputable email provider in case you have communication requirements.
Use the apps@cloud external API when connecting 3rd party back-end systems. Authentication and authorization are facilitated using a secret access token which can be obtained from the owner (primary) account, under Menu > Configurations > Premium.
We recommend to avoid using the external API and access token when making calls from a front-end as it may expose the access token.
Use the apps@cloud internal API when building new custom front-end apps or enhancing existing ones, providing near-complete control over the front-end as well as the back-end data. Authentication and authorization are done automatically and without the use of a secret access token.
Get started by creating a custom data app, then, go to the Custom Code page under Menu > Wizard > your custom app, upload a zip file containing the Javascript files your solution requires. For example, your zip file may include a my_custom_app.js that contains the business logic code, as well as the latest compressed production jQuery file.
